I love my crock pot. I mean I REALLY love my crock pot. I've shared before that 5:00 is not my best hour, and sometimes I think to myself "Today is the day Momma looses her mind." So nothing feels better than reaching that "crazy hour" and not having to worry about cooking dinner. Don't let dinner be the straw that breaks the camel's back, ya get what I'm saying??
I thought I would share my top three go to recipes for the crock pot. These I make on a regular basis and are yummy enough to eat at least once a week. Enjoy!
1. BBQ Pulled Pork
I've shared this recipe on my blog before, but its just that good. This is my momma's recipe and I have received nothing but good reviews from friends whenever I make it.
Check it out here.
2. Fiesta Chicken
Now I cannot take credit for this recipe. I found it on Pinterest and it's from MyLitter.com.
My husband is not a big fan of tomatoes or beans, but the creaminess that comes from the cream cheese in this recipe disguises it enough for even him to love. Woohoo!
Here is the recipe.
3. Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo
For some reason when I hear "Alfredo" I picture a super fancy and complicated recipe that I just don't have time to attempt. But this recipe is SO easy and delicious. It feels like a "special occasion" meal that you didn't have to slave over and I mean, come on, it's Alfredo...so you look forward to eating it! I found this recipe on Raininghotcoupons.com
I am gluten intolerant, so I use this recipe for cream of chicken soup.
