It was neat to see the progression of my prayers and the answers the Lord brought to those prayers along the way. Like a job, a continued heart to get in the Word, etc.
I even gave the journal to him as a Christmas gift, so he could keep it in his desk at work and read it whenever he was feeling discouraged and know he was being lifted up in prayer.
Well, now I am ashamed to say that I don't pray for him like I should. If I was being totally honest, I would tell you that sometimes days pass without me saying a single prayer for him.
"Now I urge you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me," Romans 15:30
Paul urged his fellow believers to strive--to struggle or fight vigorously--for him in prayer. How much more should I be in prayer for the man God has given to me as a husband!
Ladies, our husbands need our prayers. Will you join me the month of September and pray for your husband every single day?
